Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set forth the conditions for using Text Recognition Camera (the “Service”). All users of the Service (“Users”) agree to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships between Users and the Service regarding use of the Service.

Article 2 (User Registration)

Where registration is required, registration shall be completed when an applicant agrees to these Terms and completes the registration process specified by the Service.

Users may not transfer, lend, or share their registration information with any third party under any circumstances.

Article 3 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in the following acts when using the Service:

• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
• Acts related to criminal activity
• Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Service
• Collecting or storing personal information about other users
• Impersonating another user
• Providing benefits, directly or indirectly, to anti-social forces in relation to the Service
• Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Service

Article 4 (Suspension of the Service)

The Service may suspend or interrupt all or part of its operations without prior notice to Users if it determines that any of the following applies:

• Maintenance, inspection, or updates of the system related to the Service
• Force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
• Any other situation in which the Service determines that providing the Service is difficult

The Service shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by Users or third parties due to such suspension or interruption.

Article 5 (Restrictions and Termination of Registration)

The Service may, without prior notice, restrict a User’s access to all or part of the Service or terminate the User’s registration if the User:

• Violates any provision of these Terms
• Has not used the Service for a certain period of time
• Is otherwise deemed inappropriate for continued use of the Service

The Service shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users as a result of actions taken under this Article.

Article 6 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability)

The Service makes no express or implied warranties that the Service is free from defects in fact or law, including but not limited to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security issues, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights.

The Service shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users arising from use of the Service.

The Service shall not be responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes between Users and other Users or third parties in connection with the Service.

Article 7 (Changes to Service Content)

The Service may change or discontinue the content of the Service without prior notice to Users and shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such changes.

Article 8 (Changes to Terms)

The Service may revise these Terms at any time without notifying Users if deemed necessary.

Article 9 (Handling of Personal Information)

Personal information obtained through use of the Service shall be handled appropriately in accordance with the Service’s Privacy Policy.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Service operator.
